About Ivan

 

Ivan M Hardcastle specializes in providing a nurturing and family-centric environment where children with unique developmental needs such as dyslexia, developmental skill delays and social interaction challenges receive personalized support and care.

Ivan graduated from the Idaho State University Occupational Therapy Masters Program in 2007 and has been working in the Twin Falls area since, with a focus on pediatrics (outpatient and school based).  He has developed additional specializations in dyslexia, pediatric incontinence, mindfulness, and sensory processing.

I am an occupational therapist with experience since 2007 in parent and professional education and presentation and clinical outpatient pediatric settings. I am specialized in education and treatment of emotional regulation, autism, sensory integration dysfunction, pediatric incontinence, and a wide variety of additional pediatric diagnoses and disorders. I have been a local and state presenter since 2008 for numerous in-person and virtual presentations.

I have always had a passion for helping others grow and reach their potential. I served a 2-year religious mission in the Canary Islands, helping many people while also becoming fluent in Spanish. I married young, and together with my wife have raised five neurodivergent children. After graduating from Idaho State University with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.

I spent my professional life in Twin Falls helping children with special needs to thrive and presenting to varied parent and professional groups throughout the state and region. I specialize in sensory processing, Autism, emotional regulation, dyslexia, childhood toileting, and many other developmental concerns. My parenting and school staff coaching expands my ability to give individuals and families the tools to help even more children succeed.
